Girl Gvng: EmpowerHer Mentorship Program
At The Alumni Initiative, we are proud to introduce "Girl Gvng," a mentorship program specifically designed to empower young women and girls. Through this program, mentors serve as role models, advocates, and guides, helping girls cultivate their strengths, amplify their voices, and step boldly into their futures. "Girl Gvng" is more than just a mentorship program; it's a sisterhood of empowerment, resilience, and limitless possibilities. Together, we're shaping tomorrow's leaders, one empowered girl at a time.
We are thrilled to introduce The Girl Gvng: EmpowerHer Mentorship Program, a new cornerstone of The Alumni Initiative’s “The Future Leaders Program.” This program is designed to empower girls aged 10-18 by addressing various aspects of personal development, including self-esteem, body positivity, and healthy relationships.
Program Focus:
Comprehensive Development: The program takes a holistic approach to personal development, focusing on key areas essential for the growth and empowerment of young girls.
Self-Esteem: Participants will learn strategies to build and maintain healthy self-esteem, enabling them to navigate challenges with confidence.
Body Positivity: The program promotes body positivity, encouraging girls to embrace their bodies and develop a positive body image.
Healthy Relationships: Participants will learn about the importance of healthy relationships and how to cultivate them in their lives.
Program Structure:
The Girl Gvng Mentorship with be providing a safe and conducive environment for mentorship sessions for there students (girls) ages 10-14. Additionally, we are looking for a high school location to host girls aged 14-18.
Duration: The mentorship program will span over 7-10 weeks, with sessions held at least once a week.
Fun Activities: The program will include fun activities that promote bonding and personal growth, making the learning experience enjoyable and impactful.
Final Week Finale: The program will culminate in a finale event in the last week, providing an opportunity for the girls to celebrate their journey and achievements.
